 "Great!!" 2009-10-01

The only inputs are RCA,but the sound quality is great, especially for the price. I'd buy it again and have already recommended it to friends.

"Nice sound bar for the money BUT don't get too hyped up." 2009-09-25

I purchased this sound bar to add more quality sound to my 50 inch Samsung Plasma tv. This is a good unit for a small to average size room. It does what it is supposed to do. Its not a true surround sound system but it wasn't made for that. Don't get me wrong I love it so far,its easy to hook up and once you set the volumes correctly you're good to go. I was able to mate up my cable remote to the BA system with ease. You will hear a difference in sound. I like it for the wireless sub woofer and the ease of connection. Its not going to give you true surround sound but it will do the job nicely as long as you aren't expecting it to be. This is great for someone who wants no wires and a little bit more sound enhancement. You won't go wrong here, I do like how it brings out certain background sounds and it does look cool underneath my tv. The black on black is sleak as my tv has a glossy black edge. So buy this and enjoy.

"OK for what it is ..." 2009-09-23

We have a 37" Panasonic plasma TV in the bedroom that has poor internal speakers. We were looking to boost the sound quality. For that, this unit is fine. A good speaker system, wireless sub-woofer, and the best part is that it "learns" your existing remote control. Very simple set up: Plug in the soundbar; plug in the sub-woofer; attach the soundbar to the Left/Right audio output on the TV, program the soundbar to accept your remote's On/Off, Mute, Volume Up & Down, and that's it. Whole setup took less than 10 minutes. But, if you're looking for a home theater experience, this is not it. If it's a home theater experience you're looking for, look at the Yamaha Sound Projectors. But, if you just need to kick up the sound quality of your TV with a very simple unit. This will work just fine.

"TVee Model Two a Winner!" 2009-09-11

I bought this soundbar/woofer combo to compliment my Toshiba Regza 42" LCD TV, and it sounds great! The woofer adds a lot of punch, and you can control its volume independently with a dial on the back of the woofer itself. Be sure to play with the three trim levels on the back of the soundbar as well, as they can make a lot of difference, especially watching sports. Speaking of sports, this is where the TVee sort of falls short, since a lot of crowd noise is picked up, but its performance with everything else (movies, video games, music) more than makes up for it.

"Teaching" the device to use my remote was easy, but keeping the volume levels in sync with the TV speakers is quirky. I recommend turning off your TV's internal speakers if you can. If you cannot, it will just take some getting used to, but it's certainly not a deal-breaker. I love not having to switch inputs on the unit, it just outputs what your TV's speakers would output, no matter what.

The system was simple to set up, it took me all of 10 minutes from box packaged to completely setup. I recommend you spend about 10 or [...] on some better RCA cables, as the ones that come with the TVee are really dinky, I didn't even try them out.

All in all, a great buy!

 "Boston Acoustics Soundbar" 2009-08-07

This is a great product. I use it with a 46" Samsung widescreen. I have had it for about six months now. Simple setup. I use the remote from about 15 feet away from the TV. The sub-woofer is about 15' feet away. In comparing the sound from the TV with and without the soundbar there is no question in my case the sound performance to my ears is improved 100%.. Bass is outstanding.

One reason I do not give it a 5 star rating is that when I turn off the internal sound on my Samsung and use my remote control for volume I get a message "Not Available". This stays on the screen for about 2-3 seconds but the sound does go up and down. This would have to do with the make of your TV and not the soundbar. I inquired with Samsung and they said if I turned of the internal spakers with my Samsung remote that I would continue to get that message when trying to use the volume up-down. I have grown accustomed to this by now and prefer it to a soundbar that requires a separate remote. A great buy at it's current price. I placed my soundbar abouve the TV about 5" and use it in my bedroom.
